The Darkness: Not typically a negative or evil association. The Darkness cools the firey soul, it provides stillness and calm. Followers believe that darkness welcomes everyone, it seeks to fill the empty corners of the world and wrap the neglected in its embrace. There are those who see this as evil, and bad splinter sects, but overall, while seen as a bit of an odd religion, and definitely a smaller religion, not seen as bad, but misunderstood. Typically lawful neutral, true neutral, or chaotic neutral, though lawful evil groups exist. Strict practitioners have silver-black robes that look like undulating waves of darkness. Others may have a “mark of darkness”, or a small black tattoo, typically placed like a third eye, but also placed in different areas of power: hands, feet, over the heart, the back of the neck.
